CONNECTIVE NAMES PIVOTAL FINANCIAL AS QUEENSLAND BROKERAGE OF THE YEAR >5 BROKERS

Connective, one of the largest broker aggregators in Australia, announced Pivotal Financial (PF), the finance arm for RE/MAX Australia, as Best Brokerage >5 brokers at its Connective Excellence Awards for Queensland this month.

Pivotal Financial produced the highest total brokerage settlement volume through panel lenders for a brokerage with more than five staff in the 2023/24 financial year to win brokerage of the year for the second time.

The re-brand of RE/MAX Australia’s finance division, directed by Matthew Andrews, occurred in 2017, and then immediately turned heads with an impressive first year to appear as finalist in five categories at the 2018 Connective Excellence Awards and win Best Marketing and Best Newcomer.

Just four years into the new brand and business, Pivotal Financial took out Best Brokerage >5 brokers for Queensland in 2021 and was a category finalist in 2022 and 2023.

“We currently have 16 brokers working with referral partners and customers across Australia,” said Managing Director, Andrews. “This award is wonderful recognition of their amazing efforts and results they achieve for their clients.”

In October this year, Pivotal Financial increased its strong leadership, appointing experienced financial services professional Shannon Arnold as General Manager.

“Shannon brought proven leadership and team development expertise plus a complimentary skillset to foster engagement and culture throughout the network; and growth and performance opportunities for both business and individuals will be benchmarks in the Pivotal Financial landscape,” Andrews said.

Connective is a leading aggregator with approximately 4000 mortgage brokers in its network throughout Australia, where around 1 in 7 home loans is written by broker associated with the aggregator.

Arnold said the annual Connective Excellence Awards existed to shine the spotlight on top-performing brokers, whose service and commitment to clients delivered great outcomes and built strong businesses.

He explained that award winners were chosen for their expertise, integrity and outstanding customer service standards.

“It was a powerhouse field of finalists and an honour to be not just a front runner but the winner.
