LEADERS IN PROPERTY MANAGEMENT INSPIRED AT PLATINUM PLUS

A distinguished cohort of REMAX Australia’s leading property management professionals gathered in Brisbane for the second annual Platinum Plus Property Management event.

The event recognises and empowers top achievers within the network, with REMAX Australia managing director Joel Davoren acknowledging the expertise and dedication required to succeed in the property management, and the importance of providing events that specifically focus on advancing the professional growth of these professionals.

“Following on from last year’s inaugural Platinum Plus Property Management event, this year’s event was incredibly well-received, with an excellent line up of speakers and terrific engagement from attendees,” he said.

Supporting landlords, tenants and properties across Australia, our property managers are absolutely critical within our REMAX network, and we’re dedicated to supporting the development and growth of our property management professionals through innovative and valuable training and resources.

The first speaker of the day was founder of EQ Minds and mental wellbeing expert, Chelsea Pottenger, sharing practical tips to help high performers thrive. Her session delved into strategies to boost focus, improve creativity and decision-making and the importance of mindfulness to achieve balance.

Next, attendees heard from award-winning property management expert, Hannah Gill, director at The Property Collective. From overseeing the life cycle of property management to building sustainable and innovative property management growth systems, Hannah delivered a focused session on proven strategies and lessons learned from her extensive experience in property management.

The final speaker of the day was author, mentor and founder of Empowering Intuition, Sheila Vijeyarasa, who spoke about guiding transformation through small but brave daily actions and embracing courage from within. From the art of having tough conversations, through to resilience in leadership roles, she encouraged attendees to be resilient, intention and authentic.

REMAX businesses are recognised for outstanding performance in property management through annual Club Awards earned on the basis of the number of properties managed or by organic net gain in properties managed.

Platinum status is given to an office that manages more than 300 properties and has achieved a net growth of 75 or more managements, Chairman’s Club status involves managing more than 400 properties or net growth of 100 or more, Titan Club status is more than 500 properties or net growth of 150 or more, and Diamond status is more than 1000 properties under management or achieving a net growth of 200 or more.

The invitation-only event, sponsored by MyConnect brought together 29 of the network’s top performing platinum-status professionals, plus members of the REMAX Australia team at Hotel X, in Fortitude Valley on Thursday, August 28 for a chance to network and hear from leading industry professionals and speakers.
