MERGING OF REAL ESTATE’S BEST

Two great Sunshine Coast real estate businesses come together with Tristan Brown’s purchase of Karl and Lindi Rademeyer’s Caloundra real estate office.

Taking effect on 1st October, RE/MAX First merges with RE/MAX Property Sales.

Already well-established as a top performing husband and wife team, the Rademeyers opened RE/MAX First in August 2015 after many successful years in real estate sales. Their office quickly became a leading office in the RE/MAX Australia network and in 2020 the broker owners received the prestigious Eagle Award, RE/MAX Australia’s ultimate honour.

As Team Rademeyer, the couple established themselves as one of the network’s highest achieving sales units, and they will remain in the Caloundra office in this capacity.

Tristan Brown took ownership of the successful Nambour-based RE/MAX Property Sales on 1st February 2021.

Already recognised as one of the Sunshine Coast’s leading agents, he quickly earned the reputation as a progressive, dynamic leader and powerhouse business owner.

“We approached Tristan because of what we’d seen him accomplish in his business in just 24 months, including growing the team from eight to 23,” said Mr Rademeyer.

“We saw his energy and passion, his business acumen and leadership, and believed Tristan’s were the best hands in which to place our successful and established business.

“That we are working with him is testament to the confidence we have in him taking the business forward and we are very excited to be on his team, along with the rest of the RE/MAX First team.”

Mr Brown says his focus has always been on a business growth strategy.

“I have been actively planning expansion from day one of taking over RE/MAX Property Sales,” he said. “In truth, it has come early than expected, but what an amazing opportunity to service the Sunshine Coast from two highly respected and successful offices and such stronghold locations – Nambour and Caloundra.

“With two offices comes an even greater team of experienced and skilled agents, greater resources and greater buying power with suppliers on so on, which will benefit our clients.”

He says a strong focus on growth will be evident in Caloundra, where his intention is to recruit more top agents and expand the service offering.

“Together, the two offices represent the highest number of sales in the past rolling 12-month period, with less agents (23 + 6) than our competitors.

“RE/MAX Property Sales will clearly be in the top five operators on the Sunshine Coast,” he said.

Lindi Rademeyer explained that opening a real estate office had been a five-year plan when they first came to the Sunshine Coast.

“We got there two and a half years sooner because the opportunity arose. Being with RE/MAX as conjunctional agents, we were able to make the commitment to being a business unit, a business within a business already. We wanted to remain RE/MAX because of the culture and what the brand stands for, and we’ve improved our business exponentially by sharing ideas with other high performers within RE/MAX.

“I said back then that we believed we were in charge of our own destiny, that RE/MAX would be our support, but we steer the vehicle. We’ll continue to be both a ‘life’ team and a sales team. We motivate each other and have 100 per cent passion and investment in what we are doing, and we’ve handed the steering wheel to Tristan.”

RE/MAX Property Sales-Caloundra is at Suite 4/51-55, Bulcock Street, Caloundra. The Nambour office is at 50 Lowe Street, Nambour.
