REB reported that agents who made the cut in 2021 demonstrated consistent efforts to retain business, which it recognised as ‘an especially impressive talent given the hardships that hampered much of the profession, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, over the 2021 financial year’.

It said that experience had shone through in 2021 with 15 years being the average and up on that of previous years. Stacey Arlott has been in real estate for 21 years.

After the uncertainty of last year, Australia’s real estate agents again found themselves on a rollercoaster full of highs and lows.

“On behalf of REB and Momentum Media, I would like to congratulate every single agent who made the Top 50 Dealmakers 2021,” said REB deputy editor Grace Ormsby, adding that the spread across states highlighted the breadth and depth of talent across Australian real estate.

Nine Victorian agents made the cut despite spending a record amount of time in lockdown. New South Wales and Queensland each had 15 agents included in the list. Six agents came from Western Australia, four from South Australia and one from Tasmania.

“RE/MAX congratulates Stacey, Kylee, Simon and Dave,” said Managing Director Joel Davoren. “We are proud of all our agents who have successfully navigated challenges over the period to achieve individual success.

“Through topping the list and being included in the chosen top 50, these four agents set a new benchmark for consistency that others within the industry can see and therefore aspire to.”

The REB Dealmakers ranking was open for submissions from 20 September to 8 October 2021 and was based on figures from settled residential sales across 2020 and 2021.

REB says the results highlight the unprecedented market conditions seen across the country.
