REMAX Australia was proudly represented at the 2025 Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) Awards for Excellence, held in Brisbane over the weekend.
Mackay’s REMAX Select was named Medium Residential Agency of the Year, while Toowoomba’s Karissa Tigges of REMAX Success was awarded Business Development Manager of the Year for the second consecutive year.
It was a particularly special night for REMAX Success’ Jacqui Walker, who was inducted into the prestigious REIQ Hall of Fame after achieving the title of Regional Salesperson of the Year – Commission and Transactions for three consecutive years (2022, 2023 and 2024).
The Real Estate Institute of Queensland is the peak body representing real estate professionals across the state. The Awards for Excellence providing a platform to recognise and celebrate Queensland’s outstanding real estate performers, setting the benchmark for industry standards and recognising excellence in professional achievement.
REMAX featured prominently among 21 finalist nominations in this year’s awards, with three offices named across seven categories and nine individuals recognised across seven categories.
REMAX Australia Managing Director Joel Davoren said the awards importantly recognise and highlight the commitment, professionalism and impact of professionals within the real estate industry.
“Congratulations to Karissa Tigges for taking out the BDM of the Year award again this year, to Nikita and Dan Kinnane for leading REMAX Select to be recognised as the REIQ Medium Agency of the Year, and to Jacqui Walker on the very special achievement of her induction into the REIQ Hall of Fame,” said Mr Davoren.
“The REMAX Australia network is made up of a tremendous group of people, and it’s wonderful to see our members acknowledged for their achievements and for representing the REMAX with such excellence.”
The industry’s night of nights brought together real estate professionals from across Queensland at the Brisbane Showgrounds on Saturday, 8 November for the 34th annual REIQ Awards for Excellence gala.
