More than sixty women gathered in Brisbane last week for the REMAX Australia 2026 Ladies Day event, bringing together members from across the network for a morning of connection, conversation and shared insights.
Following International Women’s Day earlier this month, the event also provided an opportunity for REMAX Australia to acknowledge and celebrate the positive impact the network’s female real estate professionals are making across the industry.
REMAX Australia Managing Director Joel Davoren welcomed guests, highlighting the significant contribution women make throughout the network.
“If you look at our network as a whole, more than 60 per cent is female and some of our top performing agents are female,” said Mr Davoren.
“You are part of a business that is growing, thank you for representing the REMAX brand in such a positive way. Enjoy the opportunity this morning to connect, engage and celebrate what it means to be a female real estate professional.”
Attendees also heard from Domain Group Queensland State Director Amanda Vaughan, who shared her insights on leadership, career growth and the realities of balancing family with modern working life.
From the importance of financial literacy, to embracing opportunities for growth, Amanda encouraged attendees to be comfortable with change.
The honest and relatable Q&A session led by REMAX Australia Marketing and Innovation Manager Lauren Brewer, explored the challenges many women face in balancing career and family life.
Amanda shared that being present and achieving balance often comes down to being purposeful and intentional.
“Success is understanding what is important to you, understanding your values and being true to them,” she shared.
The morning also included a heartfelt presentation from REMAX Australia’s charitable partner, Make-A-Wish® Australia, highlighting the life-changing work the organisation delivers for families across the country. On the day, attendees raised over $2,000 for the charity.
