‘We’re coming to you’ said RE/MAX Australia in September, proudly announcing its first ever National RE/MAX Roadshow to its real estate network.
Visiting 13 different locations across four states between 25th October and 24th November, a troupe of RE/MAX key people and industry experts spent at least five hours with keen attendees, and an agenda designed to inform, involve and illuminate in a meaningful way.
More than 420 RE/MAX members representing 80 offices heard the latest innovations in marketing and technology, welcomed local market insights and discovered new ways of leveraging the RE/MAX brand to ultimately grow and win more business.
RE/MAX Director of Operations, Josh Davoren said the National Roadshow was planned as an experience for the network where the responsibility for maximum effort fell to him and fellow directors plus the corporate team.
“Our network has been truly amazing at supporting all our events from major training forums to gala awards and networking retreats despite the constant challenges and changes to travel and large gatherings in recent years. We’ve seen massive commitment whether online or in person, and our attendance numbers have never been higher.
“On this occasion, we wanted to take the pressure off our broker owners, agents, property managers, administrators and their support people. We wanted to make it easy and inexpensive; and the best way to do that was to travel to them and offer a valuable afternoon at no cost to them.”
The agenda, which was replicated in Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Perth, Brisbane North, Brisbane South, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Sydney, Wide Bay, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Wagga Wagga, began with lunch. Varying with locations, corporate staff including Managing Director Joel Davoren, Operations Director Josh Davoren, Marketing Manager Jasmine Burn, Client Engagement Manager Daniel Mumford, Professional Development Manager Jasmine Revfeim and Business Growth Managers Dene Tucker, Simon Withers, Chris Fox and Ben Jacobs shared their areas of expertise. From industry ranks were the high-profile Eliza Owen, CoreLogic’s Head of Residential Research Australia and Sadhana Smiles, Chief Executive Officer, Real Estate Industry Partners (REIP), Cath Hart, CEO of Real Estate Institute of Western Australia and Mano Balayo, realestate.com.au.
