Central Queensland has been recognised on the global REMAX stage thanks to the professional efforts of leading REMAX Select team, Team Leanne Druery, during the first half of 2025.
The small yet mighty team from Mackay led by leading agent Leanne Druery with the support of sales associate Ash Ryan, sales administrator Cindy Young and operations manager Renae Spence, operates with compassion, professionalism and market expertise, with the team consistently ranked highly within the Australian network.
Their efforts have also been recognised on the global stage, with the team ranking among the top teams across the global network in the REMAX Top 100, released last month by Denver-based REMAX LLC. The REMAX network’s global region comprises around 60,000 agents, with that number rising to around 145,000 with the addition of the US and Canada (worldwide).
“For us to be ranked so highly among teams from around the world is fantastic. Here in Mackay, it takes a lot of transactions to reach the numbers needed to compete with cities and other regional areas. I am so proud of our team,” said Leanne.
Team Leanne Druery ranked #4 small residential team in the REMAX Top 50 (global), and #26 in the Top 100 global teams (residential and commercial). With the addition of teams from across the US and Canada in the worldwide rankings, Team Leanne Druery ranked #16, in the small residential team category; an impressive result for a small team representing the regional centre of Mackay, in Queensland.
Leanne said that her team’s growth this year, with Ash stepping into a lead sales associate role and the combination of Renae and Cindy, has allowed the team to continue to excel in delivering exceptional service to the Mackay region.
“We’ve sold an incredible amount of property this year, I would say upwards of 90 properties so far. Considering the median price is considerably lower here than further south, it takes a high volume of transactions to compare regionally, so it really is extraordinary to be ranked so highly. It’s a credit to the team.”
With a tight listing market of around 600 properties for sale across the region at present, Leanne said her team’s success comes down to the strength of the relationships they’ve built within the community.
“Community is so important to us here in Mackay, and building those connections throughout the region plays a vital role in our ability to grow and continue to serve the community,” shared Leanne.
“We place a lot of emphasis on supporting clients and families through the sale process. One family, for example, recently went through the process of selling their family home of 50 years. It can be incredibly emotional, and our clients know that we’re genuine in our care and compassion.
“We have some beautiful connections, and we foster those relationships, which in turn generate referrals for us. It is fulfilling professionally and personally to help people, and being recognised by the global REMAX network for doing something we love is truly special.”
