Brilliant minds, friendship, enthusiasm and splash of glam was just the mix to bring together the women of REMAX for the 2025 REMAX Ladies Day event.
Held on Thursday September 11, coinciding with national R U OK? Day, the event was a chance for women from across the network to reconnect and celebrate each other’s successes, away from the day-to-day hustle.
REMAX finance director, Chris Chapman, welcomed guests highlighting the efforts and achievements of women throughout the global REMAX network, with a special focus on the many accomplishments of women within the Australian network.
With the event coinciding with national R U OK? Day, Chris encouraged attendees to take the morning to relax, catch up, and check in with one another.
REMAX Australia’s Jordan George shared that 62% of REMAX Australia’s network are women, with 53% of sales associates and 33% of business owners/brokers being women.
“At the network’s recent six-monthly awards, held in July at the REMAX RMX conference, three out of the five top offices across the Australian network had female leadership,” she said. “These include Hayley Van De Ven’s REMAX Bayside and REMAX Results offices, Katie Knight’s REMAX Success, and Eiles and Brittany Hunt’s REMAX Revolution.”
Jordan also noted that three of the top five sales individuals across the network were women – Kylee Harnisch, Vanessa Kirby and Stacey Arlott.
Guests also heard from Belinda Wallin of Make-A-Wish Australia, REMAX Australia’s charitable partner, who thanked the network for support in helping grant life-changing wishes of critically ill children. Belinda shared a touching story of a recently fulfilled wish, resonating with many in the room.
While enjoying a delicious spread of food and drinks, guests were inspired by Dee A’Bear, REA Group’s National Head of Specialist Sales. Dee shared her journey – from 14 years building a career in journalism, to leading one of Australia’s top digital businesses. She spoke about the passion that first sparked her 20+ year career, and the drive that helped her grow and lead in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
Over 60 REMAX women came together at The Mix Bar, Woolloongabba for the 2025 REMAX Ladies Day, proudly sponsored by industry partner realestate.com.au. It was a vibrant day filled with connection, fun and laughter, and together, attendees raised over $1,500 for Make-A-Wish Australia.
