Earlier this month Caloundra’s RE/MAX First held their annual Make-A-Wish Diamonds are Forever ball at the Novotel Sunshine Coast (Twin Waters) raising over $25,000 for Make-A-Wish Australia.
“This year, the team – and all involved – were even more determined to make sure it was a night to remember, and it absolutely was,” said RE/MAX First broker/owner Lindi Rademeyer.
RE/MAX First is the major sponsor for the annual event, which was last year postponed due the coronavirus pandemic.
The evening, held on Saturday March 6, brought together over 140 guests who ‘dressed to thrill’ at the James Bond-themed event hosted by local radio station 92.7 Mix FM’s Todd and Sami. Guests were treated to a beautiful dinner, live entertainment, live and silent auctions and guest speaker, Australian swimming legend Leisel Jones.
“I was a great night and we’re thrilled to have been able to raise money for a charity that does such fantastic work,” said Lindi.
“It is a wonderful feeling that our support – and the support of all who attended – help Make-A-Wish make special wishes come true for our Sunshine Coast children with critical and life-threatening illness.”
