Stepping into the full strength of the brand, a group of Australian delegates travelled to the United States during the last week of February to immerse themselves in the strength of the brand at R4, the global REMAX network’s largest event of the year.
The multi-day convention held annually each February in Las Vegas, Nevada, brings together REMAX affiliates from around the world to experience global networking, professional development and strategic insight. This year’s event brought more than 4,200 affiliates from 55 countries together to gain new perspectives and exchange ideas.
As 2026 REMAX R4 wrapped for another year, REMAX Australia Managing Director shared the energy at this year’s event felt optimistic, positive and open.
“REMAX people, no matter where they are from, form part of a global network with shared values and alignment,” said Mr Davoren.
“Whether it’s Portugal, Argentina, Indonesia, the Philippines, Canada, the USA, or anywhere else, the openness, grounded nature and collaborative mindset remain remarkably consistent.”
More than 130 speakers spoke across four days at this year’s event, including #1 New York Times bestselling author James Clear; bestselling author and lead investigator at Science of People, Vanessa Van Edwards; and former Fortune 500 Chief Revenue Officer and bestselling author Ryan Estis.
2024 REMAX Australia Eagle Award winner Kathy Sweeney was among the Australian delegates at R4 this year and joined the program as a guest panellist. Ms Sweeney, broker owner of multi-office REMAX Living, shared her expertise and experience during a session focused on creating traction for agent growth.
The event also celebrated the 2025 achievements of REMAX regions across the globe. Mr Davoren accepted two third place Tier Two awards for office net gain and transactions per agent on behalf of REMAX Australia at the Global Awards. REMAX LLC, the global real estate franchise company and subsidiary of REMAX Holdings, Inc., recognises standout performances annually across its network of 110-plus countries, measuring regions through a three-tier classification system based on agent count; REMAX Australia is one of 19 regional master franchises.
“This global recognition is testament to the strength of our Australian network, the opportunity available for agents and franchise owners in our market, and of the REMAX brand,” he said.
“2025 delivered strong growth across all key metrics in our business, and the momentum we built throughout the year is carrying into what we expect will be a standout 2026 for REMAX Australia and our broader network.”
The 2026 R4 event also highlighted the company’s forward-focussed perspective, with REMAX CEO Erik Carlson stating: “We’re moving quickly – and with purpose – to strengthen the advantages of being with REMAX. And we’re doubling down on the winning culture that defines this brand.”
In an exciting announcement aligning two fast paced industries, Mr Carlson revealed REMAX is now the official Real Estate Partner of the INDYCAR team Meyer Shank Racing.
“As we’re moving at a faster pace of play, it only seemed right to partner with the fastest sport on earth,” he said.
Following a full week of learning, innovation and connection, attendees were treated to an exclusive concert by multi-GRAMMY Award-winning band Train.
