The Ratio Rajput and Shane Shaikh Team made its debut entry in the global Top 50 list when Denver-based RE/MAX LLC recently announced its worldwide top-performers for January to end of June 2023.
Less than two years after opening their real estate business, RE/MAX Residence, the dynamic pair of professionals is one of ten Australian RE/MAX teams to feature on the Top 50 teams small global. A further seven Australian teams appeared on the Top 50 teams medium global list.
The broker owners, who operate as a sales unit themselves, promote and support the sales team model in business.
“We encourage our agents to build their own businesses because that is the RE/MAX culture,” said Ratio. “Presently we have three sales teams at RE/MAX Residence with other solo agents expected to build their own teams in coming months.”
She said making the global Top 50 had not been a conscious goal for her and Shane.
“We are hard-working people, and when you are hardworking and focussed, the results come by themselves. It is not something we specifically set about to achieve, though it is exciting to be on the list; and the whole team at RE/MAX Residence is incredibly hard-working and dedicated, so our achievement is an achievement for all.”
The RE/MAX Residence team has grown since Ratio and Shane launched in October 2021 and continues to grow rapidly. The broker owners expect their staff level to hit 25 next year.
The office relocated to Magellan Road, Springwood on the ground floor of Chatswood Central Shopping Centre in April, a short distance from the original location but a more spacious and inviting environment for customers and the team.
“Brisbane’s southside has been home to us for a long time,” Ratio said. “We’ve lived and worked in the area, and the community is very important to us.
“When we established our business, our commitment was to be staying in the area and giving residents of the southern Brisbane suburbs the best real estate experience possible.”
RE/MAX Australia Managing Director Joel Davoren praised Ratio and Shane on their achievement.
“Reaching the global top ranking is something a RE/MAX agent or team can be enormously proud of. It says they are amongst the very best in what is recognised as the most productive sales force in the real estate industry worldwide,” he said.
More than 58,000 RE/MAX agents make up the network’s global region. With the addition of US and Canada, the sales force rises to more than 140,000 throughout more than 110 countries and territories world-wide.
