Global REMAX Week 2025 may have come to an end, but the support the Australian network show throughout the year for their communities is year-round.
This year, from October 5-11, REMAX affiliates from around the world celebrated meaningful ways in which they support their local communities for Global REMAX Week. The brand’s annual event encourages agents, offices and networks from every corner of the globe to find ways to help support their own communities.
REMAX Australia managing director, Joel Davoren, shared that the sentiment of Global REMAX Week is demonstrated by the Australian network throughout the year, with offices and agents actively involved in their communities in many significant ways.
“Giving back to the communities in which our offices service is extremely important to many of our brokers and real estate professionals,” he said.
“We see it not only in October, but all throughout the year through a variety of different ways from supporting local sports clubs, hosting fundraising events, donating to local and national charities and so much more. We’re proud of our members for the support they show their local communities.”
This year, members from REMAX Australia’s regional team spent a morning volunteering at Ronald McDonald House, in Brisbane’s south.
REMAX Australia’s Chris Fox, Daniel Roberts, Jordan George and Daniel Mumford, along with Pivotal Financial’s Shannon Arnold donned hair nets and aprons, spreading laughter and a healthy dose of culinary competition all to support the efforts of Ronald McDonald House Charities.
It was a positive morning for the team, bringing perspective and respect to those who work and volunteer, with the team touched by the words of one mother currently staying at the facility while her son recovers from surgery to remove a brain tumor, sharing “you don’t fully appreciate the facility until you have a need to use it.”
Ronald McDonald House Programs are located in close proximity to major children’s hospitals across Australia and provide accommodation for ill or injured children and their families.
