WINERY PROVES PEFECT VENUE FOR THANKING LONGTIMERS

A group of 21 whose association with RE/MAX spans more than two decades lunched at City Winery last Friday, 11th November.

RE/MAX Australia celebrates the ’20 plus’ milestone annually, with this year’s invitations extended to 35 in the exclusive group which comprises members from all aspects of RE/MAX life – from franchise office to corporate, from broker owners, administrators and support staff, agents and property managers.

Jacob Secco, sales agent with RE/MAX Elevate in Tarragindi, Brisbane, is currently the youngest member in the auspicious group with a 1985 date of birth. He began his real estate career in 2001 manning the front desk on Saturday mornings before joining RE/MAX full time as a sales associate in 2003.

RE/MAX gifted all ’20 plus’ members a beautiful hamper including wines with personalised labels and personalised insulated wine/coffee tumblers in celebration.

“It was a fantastic event at City Winery, with great food, company, stories and laughter,” said RE/MAX Managing Director, Joel Davoren. “To those who attended and those who could not, we thank you for your hard work, commitment and passion for the RE/MAX brand.”

City Winery Brisbane is a working micro-winery sourcing grapes from across Australia’s key growing regions, bringing them to Brisbane where winemakers create delicious wine. The RE/MAX event was held in a converted warehouse in Fortitude Valley, which is the flagship venue for City Winery Brisbane, providing space for a restaurant, private dining and functions in the winery’s cellar.

RE/MAX Australia hosted its first ’20 plus’ luncheon in 2020 and falls into a possibly restricted category of not having the annual celebration disrupted by COVID.

“We know how much the event is anticipated and we can’t wait to extend more invitations and celebrate again next year,” Joel said.
